This is the most adorable set of party decorations EVER!!! Helen Cryer at Dingroom Drawers really out did herself. I ADORE the color combination. And those little balloon cupcake toppers are SOOOO cute! Unfortunately now I want a cupcake REALLY REALLY bad. She has a ton of card ideas on her blog under the same post. SO check it out when you get the chance.

I'm so excited about this project! I'm a guest designer on Chic n Clicks blog this week. I just had so much fun working on this project, I can't even tell you. The project details can be seen on her site. I just love the little Pool party colored rhinestones I made to go with the strawberry slush flowers. They just look so cute! Lookie, Lookie what I made for Mother's day! I was in charge of bringing the dessert so I couldn't help myself. I HAD to make some amazing toppers to go with it. Blossom Punch Mixed Bunch Stamp Set Coastal Cabana Ink Crisp Cantaloupe ink Summer Starfruit ink Some liquid pearls and a few small flower punches from Fiskars Tombow Glue to adhere them to the tooth picks. I made these cupcake toppers this morning for my boss's birthday (he doesn't like frosting, weird I know). But this is why I love my punches so, so much. So fast to make for so much impact. And I really can't stop using the flower from the morning meadow stamp set, especially in the cherry cobbler ink. I'm sort of addicted to it. I think I used 6 punches total. The check background paper is a left over wrapper from a See's candy box from Christmas. I knew it would come in handy one day. And the blue paper is just inking up a piece of card stock with Island indigo ink. morning meadow stamp set cherry cobbler ink Crumb Cake Ink Island indigo ink oval punch scallop oval punch tombow glue tooth picks Such a great office gift giving idea!!! Giving a coworker a really nice mug as a gift, and filling it with candy for the decoration. And I just love the way it's wrapped. |
A Note From Didi...Didi's Craft Room is just my own small comfy corner of the internet to show off my intense love of paper crafting, some of the things I have made, and share some tutorials on how I made them. Thank you so much for taking a look. Click here to shop Stampin' Up Day or night!
